Life as of 10/16/06
Well hmm. To start where I left off...
Last Sunday morning, my dad and I flew down to Florida to get the car. It was fun, and we didn't run into any strange problems. We pretty much signed the papers, paid the guy, and started driving. We got to Columbia, SC by Sunday night, then we had to go find a hotel. So, we checked in, went to sleep, got up, ate breakfast, and left (that is an inclusive list). Then I drove all day on Monday (didn't really want anyone else driving my new car, heh) and we got back at around 7:00 at night. The Appalacian mountains were fun to drive through... and now I'm thinking "road trip!" for next summer. But we'll see.
And then I had "Fall Break" on Tuesday, so I worked a bunch and then went to the Career Center for some advisory dinner thing. That was decent... after some snacks, me, the teacher from the program I was in, and a few other people sat down to talk about stuff to teach in his new class.
And then back to school on Wednesday... blech. Crazy Chinese calculus teacher only had 2 days to assign homework though, so it wasn't too bad. And now I'm in the library waiting for my Spanish class (we get a test today, whee). We're also eating some odd kind of spanish food after the test... corn, mayonaise, lime, and something else... but I forget what it was. I'm bringing white grape juice, just so I don't have to walk out with this really weird aftertaste still stuck in my mouth.

Spanish food...hmm...I'm afraid to ask how it tasted. ;-) When is your paper due?
