Procrastinating
Well, school started again. I didn't get a bunch of homework yet. The teachers are waiting for next week to try to kill us all with that. I have to read 30 pages of Philosophy, and do a dozen logic puzzle things for math. Math class shouldn't be too bad. Apparently, it's not going to pass algebra level math, but it's more about looking at math in different ways. And the other classes seem like they won't be too difficult. Not a lot of writing involved, so far. Programming will be just as easy as it was last semester, just in a different language. I'll just be glad to get a lot of the required core classes out of the way after this semester. Not to mention that we're done with finals in the last week of April.
And work has been busy, lately. The library's website has kinda decided to see how much programming I can do at once. I blame Microsoft, once again. And then I had to get backups running after I discovered that they hadn't been running for a few weeks. (oops) It's a good thing my old boss bought a new backup system before he left, because the old one seems to be pretty much dead.
And let's see... what else did I do... I went shopping with Brian on Friday, though I didn't buy anything that time. Then we decided to drive to Medina to shop more, but nothing really caught our attention. So I just kept driving north, then we went east a bit, and got halfway-lost. We went to the northeast corner of Medina County, then north a bit, then back south. Kinda nifty. Makes me want to go on a road trip.
Then on Saturday, Michelle and I went to the Bullocks' house to watch "The Sting", which was about some con artists who are really good at gambling and stuff. It was so confusing, but so interesting. Lots of plot twists, and you're never sure (even at the end, really) just who is on whose side. And people keep dying, but not really dying. Or something.
Tomorrow I don't have my day classes, seeing as it is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. But instead, I'll go into work because I have to go to a meeting and then I'll stick around to observe all the craziness of the library's Halo tournament. Then I get to go to an evil 3-hour Philosophy lecture. Blaaaaaaagh.

i think we should find lake erie next time
haha, welll, my first day at the library was tiiiring, and there was so much info to soak in!! 0_o But I think I'm going to really like working there. :-)
So after your philosophy are you eternally confused about life. ;-) No really...How is your prof? Is he Catholic or at least Christian?
Heheh... actually, it looks like my Theology professor is a decently solid Catholic. Philosophy might be interesting, as it's all about studying stuff without considering religion. But we'll see.
I need your Thoelogy teacher's name!! If you could e-mail it to me that would be great! :-)
Oh guess what?!?! Aaron is seriously considering Walsh if Christendom doesn't work out. :-D I'm so happy!! It would be awesome to have him at Walsh too!
Ooo, that'd be fun. He'd probably beat me at ping pong, though. (Not that you wouldn't, but anyway)
Theology Teacher is Fr. Joseph Torma. I'll have to wait for a few more weeks to say for sure if he's good or not, but yeah. It seems like he is.
lol Aaron can beat me in ping-pong. But I'm not that good. I would be really fun to have a big group of homeschoolers there. Do you know the Hecks? Evan told me that him and Emma are probably going there. They offered Evan a full-ride!! *jaw hits floor*
Yeah let me know how his class goes.
Wow, yeah, I know who the Hecks are. Not too well, though.
When are they going to start? And if he's getting a full ride, he's staying on campus, right? Or something? I forget how it works. At least I thought the only way to get a full scholarship was to live on campus, but anyway.
Well he got an academic scholarship, and a sports scholarship...plus his family knows the president. So between that whole mix he got a full ride. I'm not sure if he's living on campus or not. Still it will be pretty neat next year. But even six years ago Evan and Emma wanted to go to Walsh. So they've been planning this for a while.
Do you know the difference between the "normal" college and the honor college?
All I know is that in the honors college, you have to do a lot more reading and writing. It might be something of a generally increased focus on classical type stuff. I'm sure it's good to have on a resume, but I just didn't have time for it... otherwise, I might have done it.
Eek!! I have a hard time keeping up with normal school...I doubt I'll do honors college either. So overall...how is the semester going?
I had to write a group paper tonight. Did you ever write a group paper?!?! Goodness...it's hard. Plus we had to do a parody so that made things hard. :-(
Yeah, the closest to a group paper we ever had to do was proofreading and revising papers as a group or like 4 people. Let's just say that I pretty much pretended we didn't. (Didn't get a whole lot of helpful advice)
As for my semester... I think I should probably post a new thing for that.
