Random Stuff of the Week

I'm 2 weeks into the semester, at this point. And how much homework do I have? I have to make a list of 10 spanish words I don't already know, read about 10 pages for theology, and 15 pages for philosophy, and then do 6 short logic problems for math. Yeah, I'm liking this homework load so far. I'm sure it'll pick up, though.

In music class this morning we watched a DVD of a string ensemble performing Vivaldi's Four Seasons. It was insane! The primary violinist had to move so fast that it looked pretty much impossible. Now I definitely need to start working on my cello. One requirement for completing the music course is that I have to attend at least two live classical music performances. For the longest time I figured concerts would be boring... after all, I can listen to music any time I want. But after seeing the DVD thing today, I'm pretty much completely excited about it. Now I just have to find some concerts to go to.

Hmm. I want to have a LAN party now. I don't even know why.

Goodness...less homework than me!! lol

But our group paper actually turned out really nice. Three people did the work and the credit is given to four people...I guess life is never fair. ;-)

Have you ever read A Modest Proposal? That's what we had to mimic in our paper (parody)
